AMSC Launches Intensive 2026 LET Review Program for Aspiring Educators

Brgy. Bagoaingud, Ditsaan-Ramain, Lanao del Sur – Adiong Memorial State College (AMSC) has officially commenced its comprehensive 2026 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) Review program, aimed at preparing its graduates for the professional teaching boards.

The program, which kicked off with an orientation on April 6, 2026, is scheduled to run through late May, featuring a rigorous curriculum led by a diverse panel of academic experts.

The review sessions are structured to provide in-depth coverage of both General and Professional Education subjects. Throughout April and May, attendees will participate in daily sessions from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with dedicated midday breaks for prayer from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.

The curriculum includes essential topics such as first, Foundational Knowledge which covers Philosophy of Education, Learning Theories and Principles, and the History of Education; second, Core Disciplines which covers Mathematics, English (Grammar and Study Skills), Filipino (Panitikan and Wika), and Science; and third, Professional Competencies which covers Classroom Management, Educational Technology, Curriculum Development, Professional Ethics, and the Legal Basis of Education.

The program features a roster of distinguished lecturers, including Dr. Zainab O. Baute, a newly hired instructor of Adiong Memorial State College who serves as the LET review facilitator and handles subjects such as Philosophy of Education and Curriculum Development.

Other key lecturers include Dr. Norania Disinggun for English and Child Development, Dr. Sittienor Abubakar for Logic and Assessment, and Prof. Bainarie Merpha for Mathematics.

In addition to the general review, AMSC is providing a Special Review for BSED – Social Studies Majors from May 13 to May 19, led by Prof. Arsad Radiamoda, Prof. Mocmina Toma, and Prof. Samera Umpa.

To gauge examinees' readiness, the College of Education has scheduled Mock Exams on April 29 and a final comprehensive session for both BEED and BSED examinees on May 20, 2026.

The 2026 review program was prepared by Dr. Zainab O. Baute and noted by Dr. Sittienor C. Abubakar, Dean of the Graduate School. The initiative received recommending approval from Vice President for Administration and Finance, Dr. Rashida A. Abedin and final approval from AMSC President, Dr. Sherifa Rohanie K. Adiong.
